Prioritization Is a Leadership Discipline
Most teams have too little focus, and that's a leadership problem.
Managing Principal, Operations & Manufacturing
Business and operations executive with more than 20 years of experience building the rhythm of business, planning models, and governance mechanisms that turn complex, cross-functional priorities into disciplined execution.
At Cade Ops, Kelly serves as an embedded fractional Chief of Staff and COO for growth-stage and founder-led organizations, advising on labor planning, operating rhythm, and organizational design through startup-to-scale transitions.
Kelly helps organizations improve and transform operations across process, labor, automation, productivity, quality, capacity, and operating systems.
Operations & ManufacturingKelly has led planning, operations, and industrial engineering in demanding and complex environments: Amazon’s global delivery network, Boeing’s FAA-regulated aircraft programs, and multi-country technology transformations at Accenture.
Kelly works inside client organizations as a fractional Chief of Staff and COO. Recent engagement examples:
As Director of Global Operations & Sustainability, Kelly led the product and technical program organization responsible for long-range network planning, routing strategy, labor forecasting, and operational tools across Amazon’s Last Mile network. Those initiatives delivered more than $1.2B in cost savings and $10B in revenue enablement, and she directed the three-year strategic plans and capital roadmaps behind them while also leading the North America Operations Sustainability organization.
Before that, she built and scaled the global product and planning organization supporting more than 8 billion annual deliveries, growing it from 21 to more than 190 people. She launched and scaled an external shipping business, stood up national community shipping operations that delivered millions of food bank meals a month during COVID, and led 700+ associates in fulfillment, reducing safety incidents by 35% and costs by 16% a year, while leading process improvement across 26 facilities.
Kelly held progressive leadership roles on the 787, 777, and 777X programs in an FAA-regulated, union-represented environment. She led 777X industrial engineering, including gated development, factory capacity assessments, rate readiness planning, and the scenario modeling behind production rate increases and capital decisions. She also owned quality, cost, and delivery performance for a major 787 structures supplier with more than $2B in annual spend, and developed machine learning models to predict nonconforming manufacturing jobs.
At Accenture in Seattle and Singapore, Kelly managed multi-country ERP deployments, coordinating cross-functional teams through large-scale process redesign and data migration. She started her career at Ashland managing inventory planning across 15 warehouses, reducing stock levels by 25% while maintaining service.

Most teams have too little focus, and that's a leadership problem.
Most operations already have a WBR. Few use it to drive the controllable inputs that actually move the business. Here's how to close that gap.
If forecasting tells you what to expect, labor planning determines how you'll handle it.
Share the planning, cadence, or operations challenge you are working on, and Kelly or another Cade Ops leader will follow up.
